Galeão–Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport (GIG), Rio de Janeiro’s main international gateway, is located about 27 km (~16.8 miles) north of Windsor Plaza Copacabana Hotel in the iconic Copacabana neighborhood. With modern facilities and extensive global and domestic flight networks, the airport ensures a comfortable arrival. The drive to the hotel typically takes about 20 minutes, allowing guests to swiftly transition from their flight into Rio’s vibrant beachfront and cultural scene.
